Food Stop, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai

*sigh* Why you so far Food Stop?

We love to discover places that offer great food at reasonable prices, and we call it the hidden gems in terms of food joints. We came across one such place while browsing for paisa vasool (Value for Money) food joint in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai. Since it was near to our college, we went there with two of our other foodie friends. What a gala time it was! Btw, we are graduates now and still keep visiting the place only because we can’t stop raving about it!

Food Stop is a very small place with a decent ambience and has a few tables. It also has an outdoor seating which is available sometimes. It serves fast food like sandwiches, pizza, frankie, shawarma, momos and also serves juices as well. They also have food that caters to people on a diet or are health conscious.

Now there are people like us who don’t like steamed momos at all, but not to worry because they serve fried momos also. And we assure you that the fried momos are far better than the steamed ones. The shwarma counter starts in the afternoon, so we never had the chance to taste it.

Now you must be thinking why are we so sure about this place? Is this a sponsored review? Well, no it isn’t! The thing is when we find a place that is purely dedicated to serving customers with delicious and finger-licking-good food at cheap rates, we go Gaga over it! We visited this place twice in two days! Shocked? Are you wondering why we visited twice as if once wasn’t enough! The reason behind it was the amazing sandwiches we ordered and that fruit salad with ice cream! It tasted so heavenly that we couldn’t even wait for few days and visited the next day itself!

We ordered the following on first day:

1.       Chicken Ham Grill Sandwich: A big grilled sandwich having proper ham chicken. Proper ham chicken means the ham chicken served at Subway.  The sandwich was enough for one. It was very tasty and after having it I first time we actually liked the ham chicken in fast food.

2.       Chicken Cheese Grill Sandwich: Our one of the all-time-favorite sandwich which we always order when it comes to ordering sandwich. And this one also met our expectations. This one isn the safest bet when you don’t know what to order!

3.       Chicken Mexicana Pizza: The pizza was also very nice. But honestly we would like to share that we didn’t find the pizza base that good, but the filling on the base was very yummy.

4.       Fruit Salad with Ice Cream: Loved it and as we’re writing this review we can’t help think about our next visit there just to devour this bad boy! One of us is not that fond of eating fruits but this one we absolutely loved. A tall glass having fruit salad with ice cream and tasted heavenly.

5.       Lemon Soda: Now this was compulsory to drink to beat the heat outside. Lemon Soda was a good refreshing drink.

Now comes the order which we called in for the second day:

1.       Chicken Salami Grilled Sandwich: Grilled sandwich having salami chicken in it and yummy fillings as well. Tasted too good and met the expectations as well.

2.       Chilly Cheese Grill Mayo: Now this one is also one of the favorite sandwich which we always order when it comes to ordering more than one sandwich. And guys we will admit it that we haven’t had chilly cheese mayo sandwich like this ever! So it’s by far the best one we’ve ever had!

3.       Chicken Grilled Sandwich: Was shocked after having it. Because this chicken grill was even better than chicken CHEESE grill sandwich! Pure love. By now we were in food heaven if such a place exists!

Aren't you hungry seeing this? No, don't you lie! We know we are!

We also went there a couple more times but ordered the same things as above. Each time, we fall for the place a little more! The service does take time because of the small kitchen, but is totally worth the wait. We suggest you give the complete order at once so you won’t have to wait much. The owner is very friendly and also helps you decide the menu if you are unsure.

Now coming to the point how to reach here? It can be easily found out as it is just opposite to Moraj Residency, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, near Palm Beach Road.

And one more important thing which we would really like to share for college students is that if you carry your college id you will get 10% discount. I know 10% is not that big discount but something is better than nothing.  Right?
