Hope you all are doing great! Today we bring you a review of a place that is famous for sea food. We were here with our friends a couple of months ago and finally we are penning this review down for you all. To be honest, we had very high expectations from this place specifically for sea food. But were the expectations met? Let’s find out!

We didn’t order many dishes but we ordered a good amount of the same dishes as we were a bunch of 6 hungry people. Here’s what we ordered:

1.   Bombil Fry: A mandatory order if you are here so they say. This was the first starter we tried. It looked very delicious. It was delicious too, but bland. The fish was very crispy but there wasn’t any flavor to it. We were expecting the malwan masala to hit us right after the first bite. But there wasn’t any flavor that stood out to us.

2.   Halwa Fry: This too, looks very appetizing and it looks like it would have a lot of spice in it. It did have the heat but very little. It was better in flavor as compared to the Bombil Fry, yet not the amount of heat we wanted and preferred. The meat was again very soft and cooked to perfection.

3.   Kombdi Wade (Wade with Gavthi Chicken Handi): This is personally our favourite chicken dish ever! We absolutely love Kombdi Wade especially if a restaurant like Fish Land is serving, then we are all game for it. The wade were super fluffy and exactly the way we wanted. They were delicious on their own. The gavthi chicken gravy is another story altogether! It was heavenly! And both the wade and chicken gravy were the highlight of our lunch. We couldn’t have enough of it! You got to try this one out!

4.   Prawns Biryani: Seeing that most of the food here was bland, we ordered one normal Prawns biryani and one spicy version of the same dish. The spicy version again wasn’t very spicy. The biryani was good but again, not exactly how we like our biryanis. It was still not that spicy and we love our food to be full of flavor. The prawns added in the biryani were small but the amount of prawns in the rice was good. It could have been better though.

Overall, we loved trying out the sea food here, but we loved Kombdi Wade the best! We did have very high hopes for the sea food but it didn’t match up to it. Nonetheless, we had a great time here with our friends. The service is quick here and they serve fresh catch of fish. The interiors are okay, there’s a huge fish tank (or there might be several fish tanks) and the tables are a bit too small especially the table for 6.
