Sandoitchi Review

About: This place gets its interesting name from the Japanese word “Sandoitchi”, which means sandwiches. It is famous for the variety of sandwiches that they serve along with many more appetizing items present in their menu. Apart from their signature Doitchis, you can prepare your own customized doitchi ranging from Mediterranean, Asian, Indie, Italian, Mexican and also “Jain” choices.

Another highlight of this place is that they have a huge variety of freshly baked breads that use for making their Doitchi.

This is surely a hogging heaven for a Veg and Jain foodie since you get to choose from such a diverse menu at a single place.

Location : Located near the scenic location of Powai lake, this place  is close to most of the corporate offices situated in this region. It is a favorite amongst the working class and the young generation.

Interiors : The interiors are well lit and interestingly crafted. The clean and classy look makes a great mix of formal and informal environment.

The holy Oreo shake was extremely tasty and complimented every dish that we had. The lemon ice tea was equally refreshing and nice.

We customized the Mediterranean doitchi with the choices that we had to pick from.

The doitchi was extremely delicious, stuffed with fresh veggies and spicy-tangy sauces.

Paneer melt doitchi

The Paneer melt doitchi is one of their signature doichis and it definitely lived up to its name.

The Doitchi was stuffed with soft and juicy paneer coupled with fresh veggies and tasty sauces.

Freshly baked bread and juicy cheese added to the taste of this doitchi. Every bit of this dish was mouth watering and delicious.

Burrito Bowl-

Rice served with enchilada sauce with beans, jalapenos, corn, cherry tomatoes and the sauce on the top.The veggies were fresh and the enchilada sauce tasted great with the rice. It was extremely fulfilling and is a recommended dish for a person expecting a fulfilling meal.

A pretty healthy choice to pick for any diet conscious person.

This Choco lava cake defines heaven for any chocolate loving foodie.

From the spongy crust to its mouth watering chocolate lava, every bite of this cake was delicious and delectable.

Red velvet cheescake.

This red velvet base was one of the most spongy and moist red velvet cake we have had in a while. The cheese cake was one of the highlights of our visit. This is surely recommended for those who have a sweet tooth and love to finish their meal on a sweet satisfying note.

Verdict:

Good quality food bundled with excellent service and great ambience surely makes this place a must visit. A veg paradise for foodies which provide a wide range of delicacies from a single kitchen.
