Belapur is flooded with some of the best places for food and Jumping Frog is one of them. If you are looking for a place where you can eat, drink and enjoy an amazing night life without spending a bomb, you've landed on the right page!

Jumping Frog is a bar and restaurant during the day and a very happening night club after 6pm. It has a huge dance floor, a decent bar and yummy food. What we loved the most here, apart from the ambiance, food and service was that they had maintained the theme of the restaurant very well. We could see frog accents in the decor clearly and it was kind of cute!

We were here for lunch so couldn't enjoy the dance floor, but food is what matters the most! The quantity of food served here is very generous which is what we loved. Let's see what we had here-

Mocktails:

1. Blue Moon: A bit too sweet, can be missed. It tastes like blue coloured lemon water.

2. Paradise: This too had similar taste as Blue Moon

3. Sunshine: Loved this one. It tastes exotic and fruity!

4. Chic Magnet: Really delicious fruity mocktail.

Starters:

1. Mombasa Kebab: This was one recommended to us by the manager. It is nothing but mildly spicy chicken kebabs that is apparently served in Kenya. We liked it but since we prefer our food to be a little on the spicier side, this one lacked the kick. However, the masala onions and lemon juice did the trick. It has a nice soft and juicy bite to it and the peanuts provide the crunchy texture, making it a very good option to go with your drinks.

2. JF Loaded Nachos: Who doesn't love Nachos? Especially if the nachos are served with creamy cheese, sour cream, salsa and beans? We really enjoyed this dish as it was very hearty and delicious. The nachos were actually loaded with all the good stuff. The quantity is really generous!

3. Jalapeno Chicken Cheese Burst: We were too excited to order this as anything with cheese burst speaks to us. But this one was a very average dish. There wasn't much cheese in it to call it cheese burst. It was very crispy but it wasn't up to our expectations. This starter is served with garlic aioli which makes it a wee bit better!

4. Thecha Prawns: In the menu, they call it super spicy, but it wasn't. We were expecting a red masala based prawns since thecha (a Maharashtrian chutney) is red based one. However this one was a green masala coated prawns. We absolutely loved this dish. The prawns were really yummy and the thecha was delicious as well. They weren't spicy but they were finger-licking food! A must order for sea food lovers!

Burger:

1. Fish Burger: We wanted to try a fish patty based burger since a long time but we were always skeptical as to how it would taste. Finally, we bit the bullet and ordered one. It was indeed a very flavourful burger. It isn't that different from a chicken burger. The patty was super juicy, the lemon aioli provided a nice subtle lemony twist to it. Mr. FoodFreak was totally mesmerized by this burger!

Biryani:

1. Awadhi Murgh Tawa Chicken Biryani: A very authentic and wholesome biryani, this one can easily be shared among 2-3 people. The masala to the rice ratio is proper as we like our biryanis to have lot of masala in it. It wasn't too spicy and neither too bland. We liked it!

Desserts:

1. Phirni Souffle:  Miss FoodFreak loves her desserts, and no matter how full you are, you always have some room for desserts! Phirni souffle was a very thick, rich and super creamy desserts decorated with almond slivers. The phirni had a lovely taste of Kewra essence. It wasn't overly sweet which we enjoyed. Although the quantity is less, but this one serving can actually be quite filling!

2. JF Home-made Brownie with Ice cream: A huge slab of chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream was served to us. We've never seen brownie being served in such a huge quantity. The brownie was soft and gooey. The ice cream was very soft and creamy. This dessert is a match made in heaven and we totally enjoyed having it!
