Pepper Crunch Delivery Kitchen Review
Pepper Crunch Delivery Kitchen Review
Hi all,
If ya’ll
follow us on Instagram @2foodfreaks, ya’ll know we opened up the packages from
Pepper Crunch. So this is a delivery kitchen which not only delivers in
Goregaon but also to the near-by locations. We got our delivery in Andheri
within 30 minutes which is awesome!
They have a
lot of variety in appetizers, soups, main course, rice and noodles at
affordable options. Let’s see what all we have to review today!
Appetizers:
1. Crispy Veg in Chilli Plum Sauce: This particular dish is our all-time
favorite because we absolutely love the combination of mild chilli and plum. It
tastes delicious! We had it in Vedge for the first time and we got hooked ever
since! The veggies weren’t crispy as told by the contactperson from Pepper
Crunch because it had to be parceled from Goregaon to Andheri. But had it been
eaten as soon as it was made, the veggies would have been super crispy. But
even though a bit soggy, they tasted yum!
2. Chicken Hunan Cigars: Pepper Crunch is known for the various cigars it
makes so we ordered the chicken hunan ones because again, Hunan sauce is what
makes us go weak in the knees! The coating was crispy and it had a long chicken
piece coated with hunan mixture. The appetizer was delicious but the hunan flavour
was very mild.
Both appetizers came with Schezwan sauce which was just as scrumptious as
the appetizers!
Main Course:
1. Shredded Chilli Chicken: It says shredded chicken, but it is
actually just regular pieces of chicken. The sauce is good, not spectacular. It
also has bell peppers in the sauce. The sauce wasn’t too bad, but not upto the
mark.
2. Thai Pot Rice: This one was fabulous! The Thai curry had an authentic taste
to it along with veggies such as bell peppers, baby corn, zucchini, broccoli to
name a few. However, the curry to rice ratio was a bit off. The quantity of
rice was more. Nonetheless, we loved very bite of it!
3. Burnt Chicken Chilli Garlic Noodles: These noodles were delicious. The
flavours were very mild and it was we were eating hakka noodles with a twist.
It had long wiry pieces of chicken which was very easy to eat.
There are
some points where Pepper Crunch needs to improve on:
1. There were no tissues provided nor
any spoons or forks.
2. Veggies in Chilli Plum sauce could
have gotten away with more sauce coating the veggies
3. Chicken Hunan Cigars too could have
appreciated a little more of the sauce
Overall, we
really enjoyed gorging on yummy, pocket friendly Chinese food. The food is
labelled properly with red and green inks to distinguish between veg and
non-veg food. Each container was sealed with plastic to avoid any leakage. The
food was very well packed and it reached safely without spilling. Also, for the price you pay, you do get a lot of quantity!
