Hello Foodies!
Today’s review will be on a slightly different place and
that is Samvene’s Bagel Café. We don’t find many Bagel serving places here, at least
to our knowledge; hence we said it is a little different. We had it in our
bookmarks since quite a long time now and we are so happy to finally review it.

The place is exactly below Marol Naka Metro Station and
is very easy to locate. It is a small place and we found the ambience quite
dull, maybe because it was the night time, but yes, it wasn’t brightly lit up. Hence
our pictures turned out to be dull. L
Anyhoo, we came here mainly for the bagels and also for
the margarita pizza. Let’s see what all we hogged up that night!

Cajun Chicken Burger: It
was a nice burger, the patty was moist enough and the lettuce leaf provided a
nice crunch. The patty had a slightly smoked flavor that we loved. The amount
of sauce if you see in the picture is really less and not even, so that was a
little dud there, but it was good.

Margarita Pizza:
This thing took over 15 minutes to arrive because they made the pizza after we
ordered. The pizza was really nice and cheesy; it had a delicious tomato and herbs sauce.
It came with a dip that was fantastic and chilly flakes and oregano. We wish it
the pizza was a little spicy though.

Salami & Egg Bagel: This
was a very good bagel indeed! It is a breakfast item, but we were glad it was
available at dinner time. :P It reminded us of Egg ham and Cheese Sub that we
love. The combination of Egg and the mayo that they used was delicious. This
thing is light on the stomach so one can easily hog up to 2 of these. We loved
it!

4.
Grilled Paneer Bagel: We ordered another
Bagel to see if it was as good as the previous one, and this one did not let us
down either! It was again, fantastic. There were grilled paneer cubes inside
the bagel along with veggies and yummy sauce. Loved it again! This was a
refreshing treat to us.

We loved dining here, but
service is pretty slow. It takes a minimum of 15 minutes for your order to
arrive at least it did in our case. But the bagels would cover up for the slow
service.
