Shake Square Review
Guys. We need to share something that needs your attention.
We as bloggers "get" invites from restaurants to share our "honest feedback" on the food. We visit the place, taste the food and share opinion on the same. 2foodfreaks is based on only one motto. Share the truth. If we don't like something we voice it. Some restaurants are super gracious and take our reviews as positive criticism. Some call us back and request to increase the Zomato rating. And then come these kind of people from shake square oshiwara branch.
If someone sends us an invite, they are not doing us bloggers a favour because they get free publicity from us. We don't charge them for the review like bigger bloggers do. We do it just out of our interest. If you go back to our blog posts, you would see so many reviews of restaurants that we have personally visited, paid by our own pockets and then reviewed the restaurant. We never contacted any restaurant asking them to invite us in exchange of a better rating. Why would we? Isn't the whole point of food blogging is giving you guys an honest opinion on the restaurant? So that when you plan to visit the place, you can check the honest review before planning to spend your money. But these days blogging has been tampered. There "might" be bloggers who "ask" the restaurant for invites and then give them a good rating to be in the good books. Might be a good decision for them. Never for us. We have maintained honesty in all our blogs and usually restaurants like that. But then come people like these who claim to accept honest feedbacks and when they get one, they fire us like this. We honestly want to laugh at this childish behaviour. And to clarify, so what if my brother goes for review? He is a part of our team. He is the photographer and editor for our blog. All the pictures that you see on our feed or on the blog are clicked and edited by him. Is that a shame? No. Is that unprofessionalism? No. He does a good job in our opinion and yours. You guys love our pictures! A team is a team. Doesn't matter of he is your brother or husband or sister. We needed someone who is just as honest, passionate and cared for our blog like we both do. So we hired him. Is that too bad? No. And if you go to see the rating on our blog (link in bio) you would see we rated them a 3/5. It isn't a bad rating at all. But this kind of response calls for a negative rating from our side. This response tells a lot about how a person is. How can a person who is in "hospitality" business type such a bad response to a potential customer is beyond us. We don't encourage such mails nor promote it. If you cannot handle an honest review, then don't send out invites. Sending us such a negative, rude, unprofessional response isn't the way to go.
2FOODFREAKS WILL NEVER ENCOURAGE HATE ON OUR COMMUNITY. The reason we created our page is to create a community of people who love and enjoy food like we do. We only want positive vibes here.
We feel terribly sorry. But since we had a good laugh about it, it's all cool 😉
Also, thanks for the immense support and love you guys showed us on our insta stories! We really appreciate and love you guys! You guys mean the world to us!

You can check out our blog post below. We haven't changed the rating just because someone said something horrible to us :)

Location: 6, Meera CHS, Opposite Windsor Grande Residences, Oshiwara, Andheri West
2FoodFreaks Verdict:
1. Strawberry Ice cream Soda: This had strawberry
ice cream which tasted more like vanilla ice cream than strawberry flavour. The
ice cream and soda are served differently here. It was a decent drink.
2. Jalapeno Cheese Popper: They gave
us only 2 poppers to try out. We would say that this is neither a very pleasant
sight to see nor a trait of a gracious host! Nonetheless, these were delicious
poppers served with tomato salsa. They were spicy and we loved it!
4. Exotic Bubble Gum Shake: Please ask for thick shake here. If you
order the thick shake, you will enjoy the Boomer gum taste of the shake.
5. Classic Cold Coffee Shake: To be
honest, we have had much better cold coffees earlier. This one did not float
our boat, so we wouldn’t recommend it to you!
Although, they do have a lip-smacking menu, we tried out very limited items off the menu. Overall,
we have been to better places where we get to meet
gracious hosts who are willing to know us and let us experience the place well.
