Icekraft Review

This placed just next to Jogeshwari Goregaon Link Road near Lokhandwala on a busy street which makes this a very convenient place to go to.

AMBIANCE AND DÉCOR

• The interior is very neat with some hand painted dishes on the walls. There are UNO cards placed all around to play with while you wait for your order
• This makes for a great place to chill and if that’s not what you like then they also have some pretty awesome outdoor seating arrangements

FIRST IMPRESSIONS & STAFF

• IceKraft- the name suggests a classic ice cream parlour. But, there’s a saying “do not judge the book by its cover” and its perfect for this place. They don’t just have ice cream but also fries and friffles (fries in a waffle cone). IceKraft is one of the pioneers of this amazing concept.
• The staff is very polite and courteous and a special thanks to the Manager Mr.Vishal for making our visit a memorable one

THE ITEMS THAT WE TASTED:

Friffles:

To stand out, creativity is what in demand today and you actually need to be at your best to come up with something like this which tastes soo good. Fries in a waffle cone with different sauces is what basically Friffles is.

1.   Cheesy Italiano Friffles

• What do think of when you hear the word ‘Italiano’? Cheesy pasta maybe? You got it right!  Cheesy Italiano Friffles is basically fusilli pasta tossed in a sauce with some crinkle cut fries along with lots of cheese sauce and grated cheese in a waffle cone
• It looks just amazing but it tastes even better!

2.   Cheesy Mexicano with Nachos Friffles

• Mexico is well known for their nachos and tacos all around the world. However nachos is the preferred one here in India so how would IceKraft miss it? Guess they found a cheesy way for you to have nachos
• Cheesy Nachos & Crinkle cut fries tossed in a spicy sauce along with cheese sauce, thousand island dressing and some grated cheese as topping in a waffle cone. Wow this just had cheese all over it making this a delight to eat!

3.   Ultimate Choco Fantasy Friffles

• Have you seen brownie that looks like fries? Well this takes good creativity and it’s a nice effort by IceKraft. Brownie sticks with some hard sugar candy coating making it like fries crispy on the outside and soft on the inside
• These brownie sticks & a red velvet waffle covered with chocolate syrup made it the ultimate combo. What’s even better is it is also topped with some Nutella chocolate fudge, chocolate chips and spinklers. All this is served in a Black Waffle Cone
• It tasted so good that we would have named it Death by Chocolate friffles

Fries
If friffles ain’t the one for you (which we suggest you should try least once) you even get fries served in a classic way

4.   Cheesy Fries Platter

• This platter is basically a combination of Crinkle Cut Fries, Sweet Potato Fries and Wedges topped with a lot of cheese sauce and served with thousand island sauce

5.   Tempura Vegetables

• If you wish to have something sweet and spicy then this dish is the one for you
• Fried veggies are tossed up in some sweet chilli sauce served with thousand island sauce

6.   Absolute Chocolate Freak Shake

• It is named freak shake for a reason! This drink is meant to blow your mind and freak you out with its mesmerizing look and glorious taste!
• Nutella ice cream turned into a shake layered with some more cream and topped with lots of cream, Nutella, chocolate fudge, chocolate chips, Oreo biscuits and sprinkles served in an Oreo jar! What a magnificent sight it is!
• This is probably the best chocolate freak shake you will ever have! This was suggested to us by our host and it deserves every bit of the appreciation and attention it is receiving!

7.   Absolute Berry

• The name says it all! It is just pure natural taste of berries in an ice cream
• The ice cream is made from strawberry jam, blueberry pulp, two slices of kiwi and topped with the same
• As the kiwi is added while making the ice cream it provides a new texture to the ice cream making it different and better than others

Verdict

• Icekraft is a great place to hang out with friends and family with indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. The staff is very polite and helpful.
• The friffles are a great concept and Icekraft is the pioneer of it
• The fries were also equally good.
• The absolute freak shake actually did freak out 2foodfreaks. The absolute berry just couldn’t get any more wonderful!
• Icekraft’s manager Mr.Vishal said “We are history in making” and we believe in so too!
