The American Joint Review

Hello foodies!

Today's review is on The America Joint which has recently opened up in Thane. We were only too excited to go here because ya'll know how much we enjoyed the Borivali outlet!

The ambience of thane branch is just wow. It is not as big as Borivali branch. They had outdoor seating also with a selfie wall. So selfie lovers get ready for taking selfies if you are visiting here!

Food served by The American Joint is purely organic. The quality of the food is very nice. We had the following dishes:

Mocktails:

The moctails served here are very refreshing and nicely presented!

1. Pineapple Julep:

A tangy and sweet concoction made up of juicy pineapples, oranges and cranberry, this drink is a must try for those who love a sour punch in their mocktails!

2. Strawberry Mojito: 

We took a break from drinking fresh lime mojito, so we went ahead with the strawberry one. We must say, we weren't disappointed! This drink is amazingly refreshing and cools you down instantly!

3.Green Chilly Watermelon Coconut Fizz:

We love watermelon based drinks, but this one was a bit unique because of the coconut flavour to it. We loved this one as it has the nutty coconut flavour to it and a spicy kick from the chilly. A very pleasing amalgamation of flavours, we loved it!

Food:

1. Watermelon Feta Cheese Salad: 

It comes as a block having layers of watermelon and cheese. The cheese in it is very thick. Guys, it's a must try salad because it is very awesome and refreshing too. But what made the most exciting dish a bit bleh is the watery content in the salad. However, the taste of watermelon and feta is our favorite so we didn't mind it!

2. Hong Kong Fries: 

As a french fry lover, we had to order this! Now not everyone will like these fries because these are saucy ones. The fries were a bit soft and soggy that had a yummy tangy and a little bit of spicy taste!

3. Mac n Tikka: 

Classic Mac n Cheese with a bit of an Indian twist. We felt that the tikka lacked some punch. But full marks for the uniqueness of this dish. They also serve extra tikka masala on the side which is a plus!

4. America's Cheese Burger:

It sounds a little weird that having an American style burger but in veg form especially for hardcore meat lovers like us! But that's  not the case here. The black bean burger patty inside it will prove that you are indeed having some American style burger. The burger tasted delicious. They also came with a side of fries.

Shake:

1. Ferrero Rocher Shake:

Ya'll know our love for thick shakes and if its a Ferrero Rocher one, we can't ever deny it. The shake was thick and luscious, not too sweet but not too bland either. It had whipped cream on top which was like a cherry on top of the cake. A must order indeed!

Dessert:

1. Double-Decker Brownie Delight:

Three gorgeous brownie waffles served with with 2 different types of ice creams. But the fun doesn't end here! It also has a chocolate cigar, chocolate drizzle, bits and pieces of kit-kat, some chocolate sprinkles and butterscotch balls! This one is the perfect dessert to end a heavenly meal!
